Saying Hello

Well today, so far is a great day. Its 10:00 and I have made some phone calls, made a facebook page for Rylee's Student Council and going to help them with a blog. I might need to take a nap now. Rylee has a game, Chris has school and I am now the driver of one busy daughter. Now all I have to do is wait for the driving to begin. Have a great and happy day.

Unemployed

So I think I'm unemployed the first time in 20 years and I really don't know what to do with myself. Well for the first 4 weeks I think I was in Pity Party mode. This week I've decided to have a change of heart and go with it. Its kinda hard to imagine not working every day, I talk to myself now and even answer myself. I think that is a bad sign. So today is the day that I throw PITY PARTIES out the door. I got up and took Rylee to school and I exercised for 30mins, Yep exercised. Well off to see what the day will bring.

Summer 2010

Rylee makes the Ben Lomond High School Varsity Team
So with Rylee with out a team and really not knowing what she wanted to do she decided to try out for Ben Lomonds Soccer Team. For those of you that don't really know Rylee, she is a very smart athletic girl that skipped 5th grade. So not only is she a young 9th grader this year she barely turned 13 on May.
When she tried out for B.L. she didn't know what to expect. OK... she thought well may be I will make the J.V team that would kinda be cool. So she tried out on a Monday and Tuesday and by Wednesday it was confirmed she had made the Varsity Team!!!

Rylee is having the time of her life and comes home every day and says how cool it is to have "seniors" for friends and that they are alot nicer than people think.
B.L. has played some pre-season games they did 4 won 2 and lost 2 their season begins on the 2nd of September.
One of the biggest things Rylee wanted was to be #8 well that didn't happen so she is playing #28 at least it still has a "8" in it.

Summer 2010

Park City Tournament with Forza
After Rylee left Koas we really didn't know what to do next so she decided to go to her Farmington Families house for a week. During that we she went and started to practice with Johnny's team again. During that time Johnny asked her to be a guest player for the Park City Tournament.
All the girls piling each other after the girls finally won the tournament after over-time and penalty kick. It was a great tournament and it gave Rylee a new direction to work toward.

Johnny really wanted Rylee to step it up and so she decided to body up. Here is a picture of her doing it.
Close up of Rylee going in for a sub doesn't she look good in Forza colors
A great picture of the Champion team of the Park City Tournament

The begining and the end

We had some great times this summer. We went to Oregon and Washington, Idaho and last but not least Colorado. You could call us the traveling bunch. After Colorado Rylee wasn't enjoying soccer anymore as a matter of fact she hated it. So Chris and I let her make the decision to quit the Koas team. It was her decision and she had to make it fully on her own. Chris and I told her we would support her in what ever decision she made.

We go home on Sunday the 18th of July and she had made her decision. She called Whit and told her she no longer wanted to play for the Koas. For a 13 yo girl this had to be one of the hardest decision in her young life. She made it and away we went. So after 9 years of playing soccer were at a stand still not really knowing what to do or where to go....
