The begining and the end

We had some great times this summer. We went to Oregon and Washington, Idaho and last but not least Colorado. You could call us the traveling bunch. After Colorado Rylee wasn't enjoying soccer anymore as a matter of fact she hated it. So Chris and I let her make the decision to quit the Koas team. It was her decision and she had to make it fully on her own. Chris and I told her we would support her in what ever decision she made.

We go home on Sunday the 18th of July and she had made her decision. She called Whit and told her she no longer wanted to play for the Koas. For a 13 yo girl this had to be one of the hardest decision in her young life. She made it and away we went. So after 9 years of playing soccer were at a stand still not really knowing what to do or where to go....

Steamboat Springs

Well in July we went to Steamboat Springs for a soccer tournament. If you haven't been, its beautiful and peaceful. If you ever get a chance go. The above picture is the start of a great weekend. Koas had a practice and here are some of the girls getting ready for it.

Summer Fun 2010

So we went camping over July 4th. Henry Idaho here we come. Chris HATES camping so he drove up for a day in the hot rod, just early enough to be put in the parade. Here is the hot rod with Chris, Jazmyn, Rylee and Kin.

Jazmyn thought camping would be fun.... she was really bored and wouldn't leave Jack alone.

Camping up in Henry isn't like camping anywhere else. Bonnie and Eddy do it up right. We had mud shirts, necklace making, a band and even fireworks that were better then Ogden Cities.

I know what you are thinking, but it isn't so. They are taking a page from Lady and the Tramp. Instead of noodles they were sharing fruit by the foot.

Summer Fun

This summer really flew by. June was a great month we went on a real vacation. Seaside Oregon and Seattle Washington 8 days of bliss. The trip was with Chris, myself, Rylee and Kin (aka #2) we did a lot of stopping and going and got to see alot of great things

Vacation

We're going on a vacation, we're going on a vacation that doesn't revolve around SOCCER. I know what are we thinking. Well its about time it has been 3 years, yep 3 long years of soccer vacations to make it to this one. Wednesday we head to Oregon for a couple of day then off to Seattle. I am so excited I don't know what to do. I cleaned the entire house yesterday, I think its harder to prepare for the vacation. Well I will keep you posted on our adventure.

Today is the day, Rylee turns 13..... yep 13. I can now say that I have a teenager. Its a big day for her not only did she turn 13 she is also running for Vice President of OPA. Good Luck Rylee we love you.

She is growing up

Who would have thunk it..

Rylee is growing up way to fast. This year will hit the teen years. I haven't been on for some time so I thought I would work from the current back, to update you on the Kiernans. It's April 7th today and we had a yucky Utah spring storm hit us on Monday night. 8 inches of snow later we welcomed spring back today. Chris and Rylee spent a beautiful day snowboarding at Brighton and I worked (someone has to bring home the money) jkChris. Soccer season has started but with the weather we haven't played one game (I will keep you posted on the games). Rylee got her pictures taken a couple of Saturdays ago and they turned out beautiful.
